Workshop 1.3 „Technical advices for establishing the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) and establishing communication connection with ERCC“, (within the Project “EU 4 Better Civil Protection”)

Workshop 1.3. „Technical advices for establishing the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) and establishing communication connection with ERCC“has been held in Hotel Holiday Sarajevo on 17th and 18th of September, 2019, organized by Ministry of Interior Republic of Croatia and Association for Risk Management AZUR, within implementation of the project „EU 4 better Civil Protection“and due to BiH accessing EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Around 30 experts from relevant protection, rescue and prevention institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina has participated in the workshop:

  • Ministry of Security Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Federal Civil Protection Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Republic Administrator  of Civil Protection Republic of Srpska
  • Department of Public Safety of the Brčko District
  • Public company Waters of Srpska (JU Vode Srpske)
  • Republic Hydro meteorological Institute of Republic of Srpska

In the name of Delegation of the European Union in BiH, as  project sponsor, participants were greeted by Mr Johannes Hintzen, attaché and Task Manager for the Reform of the Judiciary and Security Sector. Workshop has been successfully implemented by eminent experts from Ministry of Interior Republic of Croatia who shared with the participants their European experiences:
